Who we are

We are an evangelical congregation that has been around nearly as long as Idaho Falls. We are a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination and our focus is on building the Kingdom of God here and abroad. God gave us the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and we strive to live out that call in our everyday lives through the power of the Holy Spirit and with the support of each other.

The importance of the Bible

Do you have questions about life? Want to know what God has for you? What happens after this life? Is there something more to life? Ever wish there was an instruction manual with all the answers?  There is! It’s God’s Word, the Bible.  We at Alliance have the same questions about life you have. We don’t have all the answers, but we know God does; and he has provided his answers in the Bible. We invite you to come and explore God’s Word with us.

What we’re about

The purpose of Alliance is to make followers of Jesus Christ through witness, instruction, and service.  Our mission is simple: build the Kingdom of God through disciple making (Matt. 28:19-20).  Our vision is to be disciples of Christ, living wholly dependent on him.  We are a church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination (C&MA).  The C&MA is an evangelical protestant denomination that has a great emphasis on missions.
